Luojia Fragrant Vines are distinguishable by their yellow, glowing appearance, often found hanging from trees. To upgrade your Gourd, you must collect these vines and give them to the Shen Monkey NPC, located in Chapter 1’s “Bamboo Forest > Marsh of White Mist” area. Notably, you only need a certain number of vines to fully upgrade the Gourd, meaning you can skip collecting three vines.
To unlock the Supreme Gourd, which has 10 healing charges, you need to upgrade your Gourd to 9 charges using the Luojia Fragrant Vines.

- How to Find: This vine is found directly to the left of the shrine. Look for yellow glowing vines hanging from a tree nearby.
Chapter 2: Yellow Wind Ridge

- Location: Yellow Wind Formation > Windrest Bridge
- How to Find: From the Windrest Bridge shrine, proceed straight across the bridge and through the village. At the end, defeat the three rat enemies in red robes. Afterward, open the wooden gate behind them, turn right, and find the vine hanging before reaching the “Windrest Hamlet” shrine.

- How to Find: After defeating the boss “Buddha’s Right Hand,” cross the broken hand and follow the path down. Drop down the left side near a wooden hanging bridge. Cross the bridge and navigate a narrow wooden beam with slashing spider arms coming from cocoons. Use the “Umbral Abyss” transformation, unlocked after Chapter 3, to clear the way. After crossing, the vine is hanging from a tree on the right edge, just before the hidden shrine “Relief of the Fallen Loong.”
