In Black Myth: Wukong, players must gather several key components to craft powerful weapons. Among these are the elusive Samadhi Fire Crystals, essential for forging the formidable Staff of Blazing Karma. Acquiring these crystals involves defeating challenging bosses in various secret locations. This guide will help you track down all three Samadhi Fire Crystals in the game.
Samadhi Fire Crystal 1 location
The first Samadhi Fire Crystal can be found in the Furnace Valley region, specifically near the Valley Entrance Shrine in the Flaming Mountains. As you progress through Chapter 5, you will encounter a character named Pingping, a transforming fox who requests your assistance. Follow her guidance into the depths of Furnace Valley.
Once you reach the Entrance Shrine, prepare for a tough battle against a rock-and-stone creature known as the Flint Chief. The path to the fight is treacherous, with fire hazards and enemy encounters along the way. Be sure to equip any fire-resistant gear, like the Fireproof Mantle from Chapter 1, and stock up on health and mana potions.
Descend into the valley, where you’ll find a red lava flow along the left side of the area. Follow this path until the Flint Chief appears. This boss shares similarities with the Stone Vanguard from Chapter 2 but with a simpler move set. Despite the added challenge of fire damage, defeating the Flint Chief should not be overly difficult. Upon victory, you will claim your first Samadhi Fire Crystal.
Samadhi Fire Crystal 2 location
The second Samadhi Fire Crystal is located near the Ashen Pass III Shrine in the Field of Fire. As you advance through the level, you’ll encounter two sections of intense flames along the path. With Pingping’s help, the flames will be extinguished, allowing you to proceed.
Turn back to explore a side path after the fire is cleared, where you’ll face the Flint Vanguard. This battle is more complicated than the previous one due to the presence of additional enemies that will spawn throughout the fight. Stay alert and manage the lesser foes while focusing on the boss. Once the Flint Vanguard is defeated, you will obtain the second Samadhi Fire Crystal.
Samadhi Fire Crystal 3 location
After acquiring the second crystal, continue down the Ashen Path. Soon, you will reach an area where the ground emits a distinct glow. Here, small Flamling enemies will spawn, and you must defeat four of them. Afterward, interact with the glowing ground to trigger the appearance of the boss, the Mother of Flamlings.
This fight may be challenging, but careful attention to the boss’s attack patterns will lead to success. Once you defeat the Mother of Flamlings, the third and final Samadhi Fire Crystal will be yours. If you encounter a section with a plant to harvest on the right and a chest on the left, you have ventured too far and should backtrack.
Crafting the Staff of Blazing Karma
With all three Samadhi Fire Crystals in hand, you are now ready to craft the Staff of Blazing Karma. Visit any Shrine or head to Zodiac Village, where Yin Tiger can craft the weapon for you. Armed with this powerful staff, you will be better equipped to face the many challenges that await in Black Myth: Wukong.
