In Once Human, Mystical Crates are unique treasure chests filled with valuable items such as weapon and armor blueprint fragments, along with essential resources. These crates are crucial for enhancing your Meta-Human by crafting new gear or fine-tuning your blueprints.
Once Human features a variety of collectibles, including Lucky Cats and Mystical Crates. While each settlement contains a Mystical Crate, additional crates can be discovered by solving puzzles that involve tracking glowing purple orbs. 13 Mystical Crates Locations in Chalk Peak – Once Human
If Iron River represents the base of the mountains, then Chalk Peak is undoubtedly the summit! This rugged terrain, characterized by steep cliffs and towering peaks, is home to formidable enemies ranging from level 30 and above. As you explore this challenging area, stay vigilant for wolves, boars, and the rare but deadly leopard or bear. To cover the expansive landscape more efficiently, using a vehicle is highly recommended. Chalk Peak also offers plenty of rewards for those who dare to venture there, with four orb puzzle crates and nine settlement crates waiting to be discovered.
- In the Sealed Room on the Second Floor (3765, -4401): Enter the museum with a glass roof in Holt Town. At the back of the gallery room, you’ll find an elevator. Take it up and exit right towards the middle back of the building. Follow the hallway with tarps and lamps until you reach the sealed room, which requires a Rosetta V2 Access Badge to open. Be cautious of puddles of pollution and spiders inside!
- On the Grass near the Hedge (3744, -4503): In Holt Town, look between the houses and hedges. The first purple orb is located next to a tree by the hedge.
- On a White Semi Truck (2680, -5379): At Inspection Point 266, you’ll find the first purple orb on the wheel of a white semi truck inside the inspection area.
- In a Glass Room (3120, -5966): On the bottom floor of the Rosetta building in Gaia Military Base, locate the locked Glass Room. You will need a Rosetta V2 Access card to enter, which can be obtained by defeating the Rosetta Mechanic on the walkway at coordinates (3051, -5889).
- On the Roof (1717, -5879): At Rotten Saddle, enter the mineral and ore museum across from the Panorama building. Climb the stairs in the gallery room to reach the top floor and access the roof. Alternatively, use a Spring Legs Whim potion and Stardust Energy Drink to jump onto the roof from the North side by climbing the Air Conditioner units.
- By the Campfire (1874, -5778): In the campground near Rotten Saddle, find the ring of crates and chairs around the campfire. The first purple orb will be on the North side of the campfire.
- On the Balcony (295, -7151): At Silvershore Resort, enter the large square building with glass walls. Climb the stairs and enter the room furthest to the Left (South). Exit through the glass door onto the balcony where the crate is located in the middle, to your Right.
- On the Roof (742, -4490): In the Southwest corner of the Greenlake Hill campground, find the grassy area with several campers and The Butchers Elite enemy. After defeating the enemy, climb the stairs of the white concrete building. Use the ladder on the second level to access the roof.
- In a Glass Room (63, -3805): At Alpha Institute, enter the larger square Rosetta building. The crate is located in a glass room, which requires a Rosetta V2 Access Card to open. You can obtain a V2 Card by defeating the Rosetta Bruiser at the Eastern entrance or the Rosetta Heavy on top of the long ramp.
- Inside the Winery (1448, -3297): At Evergreen Vineyard, enter the white restaurant and head behind the bar on the Southeast side of the dining area. Proceed through the small cafe to the stairs in the back corner. Climb up to the loft, where the crate is located in the center on a coffee table.
- On the Walkway in the Train Depot (2444, -4091): At Furnace Lair, enter the train depot from the West side. Look for the open orange train car on the Right. Climb to the roof of the train car, then carefully walk or jump onto the metal walkway in the center. The crate is located at the far East side of the walkway.
- On Top of the Red Train Car (2415, -4066): Outside of the Furnace Lair train depot, find a line of train cars. The first purple orb is located on top of the red train car nearest the depot, which can be reached by climbing nearby crates and jumping onto the train.
- Next to the Monolith Spire (1631, -4770): In the Monolith of Thirst Danger Zone, start at the Teleporter (1636, -4816) on the platform facing the Monolith. Jump and paraglide to the roof of the Monolith building, where the chest is located just before a series of metal stairs and platforms.
